Starting on May 28, Qdoba Mexican Eats will be offering plant-based protein Impossible meat in 730 locations nationwide!

After testing in Michigan, the fast-casual chain decided to go full steam ahead in Brooklyn, Denver, and Los Angeles this April, with plans to expand across the country in May.

Qdoba’s Impossible protein is seasoned Mexican-style with a blend of spices including tomatoes, garlic, smoked chiles, and paprika. Customers will be able to add the Impossible meat to their own custom creations, or opt for one of Qdoba’s menu items, the Qdoba Impossible Bowl or Qdoba Impossible Taco–hold the cheese!

Impossible Foods is growing–and fast. At the beginning of April, Burger King announced that it would start using the plant-based protein for a meatless version of the classic Whopper! Meatless eating is going mainstream, and even fast-food chains are heeding the call. It’s easier than ever to ditch cruel animal products in an affordable and on-the-go way.

Often, beef offered at fast food restaurants come from slaughtered “spent” dairy cows who have lived their whole lives languishing on abusive factory farms like this one. By ditching meat and dairy, we can help end this cruel cycle.
